    Thanks for the input.

    That DJ on leather looks good, I don't see very many on leather straps, do they still make them?

    I would like a Glashutte Original too, but I really have a thing for Rolex, so did my Dad, he passed away recently and I think is an interest that we can still kinda share..

    The Datejust or Datejust 2 would be my choice. The newest ones are pretty scrumptious. I glommed these pics from the web...here's the old one

    Post dress watch

    I would suggest looking at a Rolex Precision - they are slimmer and simpler looking and make a fine dress watch.
    Here is pic of one I recently purchased - this particular one doesn't have the 'Precision' on it but its of the same type..
