Default NEVER - Never ever put a dirty watch in the washing machine ---->

This happend by accident to a good friend of mine.

The (two weeks old) Lady Datejust was in the pocket of her Jeans when she put it in the washing machine.

But it stayed not in there

    Regards from Germany,
    Hannes

And once again we see.........Most accidents with a Rolex occur when people take them off, confirming once again (everyone say along) The safest place for a Rolex is ON YOUR WRIST.........

I that they were impervious to most anything.

How could a load of wash with detergent do all that to stainless steel.

what a beating that watch took.

The crystal remained intact though? I kind of wish my Sub or SD looked like that!

    ....agree 110% !!!

Looking at those pictures hurts....(btw, thanks for sharing, Hannes).
Not sure that the case or the bracelet can be fixed anymore without substantial
    dings still remaining there
Getting a replacement case, bezel and bracelet will be very expensive.

What a shame, that WAS a beautiful watch..

I think Rolex can performe a miracle job on it and have it come back looking like new again.

That's a shame Hannes, tell her I'm sorry for her loss.

That watch is going to need at least a month in the spa, and years of time on a shrink's couch.

    Ouch!

I guess mainly because it came out of the pocket.

Shame it wasn't as lucky as this one:
