Default New Oris Small Second Diver 17 pics

Thought I'd post some pics for other folks reading from this forum who may be considering purchasing one of the Oris Divers. I am thrilled with the service, speed and price I got from the ADs in Australia - thanks Lisa for all the help and answering every single question. Ordered Friday and got it today (Monday!)

I really love this watch and worried it might be too big, heavy, thick. Not. not and not. To put in perspective, I came from wearing a Tissot that was 13.5 MM thick and had a 39MM crown. My Tissot did have a SS bracelet but still came in at only 176 grams. The installed weight of this Small Second Diver is 236 grams on my wrist (I'm a 7.25"). So . . . if you are on the fence on this one, worried at all about size, scale, weight etc. Stop worrying and start ordering - you'll love it!

Enjoy the pics while I enjoy my new Oris!

Default Thanks all - enjoyed wearing it for the first day

Thanks all for the kind words. After wearing for first day, I like it even more. It's very comfortable - actually, surprisingly so given the weight. Wore it all day and never "noticed" it at all (although I did peek at it from time to time)

    Nice!!

I have to pick up some people at the airport today, and my local AD is right down by the airport. Hmmmmm.

Also, I can see your taste in watches runs in line with your taste in forearms.
    Dude, Kimber?

    Default Kimber Ultra CDP

Good eyes, and yes . . . it's a Kimber. The Ultra CDP. Of all the 45 ACP that I have it is BY FAR my fav. It is unbelievably accurate and controllable - feels even more so than my full size 1911 style 45s.

Anyway . . . curious to see if you picked up a new Oris on the way to the airport? What a great watch. Lot's of positive comments from folks at work today - it looks great, runs great and wear like it's 50 grams lighter than it really is!

I don't know about that, the watch is much less hairy than the forearm...
