Thanks, partner. If they use it on a pricier SAN III than it's most likely just what Invicta is uing these days. Do you know if the numbers on the bracelet are a manufacturing date, or in my case I see 07/09 which I would take to mean the 9th month of 2007? I see similar numbers on the Mako 6:00 position, or 05/03, on the case under where the strap would attach. I asked an Invicta rep about these numbers but he didn't have a clue. Not freaking out, was just a little concerned after falcon mentioned the blue plastic usually seen on new watch buckles. It actually looks like thick white paper, and too clean-cut to be anything other than a factory covering on the clasp. So far this 4790 Ti is running @ +1 second fast in @ 6 hours. Better fast than slow imo, and usually slows a bit during the break-in. So who knows, this watch may be spot-on in a couple of weeks. I really like it, I like it a whole lot!

How long did it take for you to get your money back, once they got your return? My first return was received @ 11:13 AM EST yesterday, in Kentucky.

I doubt I'll buy from them again. Been looking at Tritons' stuff and although a tad higher it would be worth it to get quality, working merchandise, with all the accessories.

Well my refunds too place over 3 years ago. That's how long its been since I have done business with them. But I used a credit card. If I recall it took about a week for the credit to show once they received it. They were quick about it. Not once did I ever have to wait like a month or so. I think you will be fine.

    Thanks, Mr. Henn.
So far, so good. I'll give it a few days and keep a time log like I do with all my watches. Once I feel confident that there's nothing wrong with it, I come back and post some pics with all the plastic junk removed. Maybe I'll take some pics with my German firearms placed along side it too.
    :)

I'm falling for this one, big time, and like it better every time I look at it.

I used our VISA card too, to order them all. If it still takes a week for my refund to show up at my bank, then I'll be very happy with that. Thanks for the reply, Time2watch, I'm feeling a greater sense of relief right now. Take care guys. Going back to watching Sci-Fi with the wife, See you all soon!

Thanks again, to all, for everything! Good night all and be safe out there.

Congrats on the watch and best wishes with it, and with the bigger things.

Looks like this one's a keeper!!! So far, "the third time's a charm" for sure and I couldn't be happier. The new 4790 is keeping incredibly great time too, @ +10 seconds in the first 24 hours. I have an 8" wrist and after removing two links in the bracelet it fits me perfectly. I do believe I've found my daily "beater", as this Titanium "cheese biscuit" not only looks great but almost feels like it's not even there at times.

Here are some more shots I just took, out on my front deck. It's a little overcast here today and I wasn't using a tripod, but not too shabby for quick-shots:

First, set alongside some of my other favorite Titanium toys...
Rare and discontinued Buck Titanium Hunter with machine screws and belt clip, and my favorite take-everywhere 4GB Titanium Flash drive...

Next, alongside my daily carry piece and very rare, long since out-of-business stainless Randall .45 Service Model, fully accurized and customized...
It's full of Titanium parts, such as Ti trigger, Ti hammer strut, gold anodized Ti hex screws holding the custom Cocobola Rosewood panels, Ti hammer spring follower, Ti firing pin,... the works... and best of all I did all the work myself! I can hit the center of a 10" pie pan consistently @ 100 yards all day long with this baby...

And of course, a shot of it on my wrist. Since it appears to be fully functional I broke down and peeled off all the plastic. I'll be wearing this one all day...

CHEESE, that actually works for me!!! Think I'm falling in love!

It's day 3 too for my new 4790 and it's still running strong! It's still accurate to @ +.46 seconds per hour, or about +33 seconds fast in 72 hours, so I think I'll keep it. It has a nice, warm, feel to it as well, as if it has a life blood of its’ own, just like all my titanium toys feel to me. It doesn't get ice cold when the A/C air hits it like my stainless watches do, and it doesn’t get oven hot in the Florida sun when I’m outdoors. I really like the titanium, but it does seem to be a much softer grade alloy than the Ti metals I've worked with in the past. I already got my first “teeny-tiny” scratch on one of the lugs, as I was turning the corner going to the can and caught the watch on a finishing nail head barely sticking out of the wall molding. My stainless watches would have just shrugged that off without a scratch, but that OK. I wasn't really expecting an aerospace grade-5 titanium alloy on a watch that cost me less than $200 [MSRP @ $495, in the 2008 Invicta catalog], although that would have been nice.
