I'm a complete diver watch freak,I can't get enough of em,look at the sales forum,I'm thinning the herd so I can buy new dive watches.![]()
I've loved the diver style ever since I was a kid. My parents got me an inexpensive diver (Soverign?) mechanical, when I was maybe 12. I wish I still had it. Remember Seahunt?
It would be a good idea if we all became certified scuba divers, it's something I've always thought about doing but never did.
90% of my watches are divers... Living on a Florida coast might have something to do with that?
Sorry, I have the same problem.![]()
:):)
man, I don't see a problem at all. diver watches are tough, versatile, and durable overall.. and if you do ever decide to get into recreational diving, you're prepared.. the 200m and deeper rated Invictas are REAL dive watches, I can verify that from experience...
embrace and accept your dive watch feelings grasshopper

Classic rugged designs. I have many Rolex inspired dive watches. I have stopped buying them - for just the reasons you state

He thinks too much: such men are dangerous.

As you may guess by my signature, I do actually dive with my watches, but I loved dive watches long before I started diving. I also like the rugged design of dive watches. Since I work in health care and occasionally get my hands in disgusting messes, I also like having a watch I can take off and scrub while washing my hands.
best regards,

Same problem, I have a 8926 and I cant even swim!
