The 5017 is one of the best values Invicta ever made and the $50 Costco price a few years back you can't find a better value.

Your watch most likely has a Miyota OS 10 movement in it. The chrono seconds hand will read to the nearest fifth of a second. These movements are quite accurate and reliable in my experience. I trust you will enjoy your watch for many years.

I got my 5017 from the Shop last year for right around that same price. It's a solid watch and wears good on the arm.

As far as the 7050, it does not display in 1/5 seconds. Just whole seconds and minutes. The three subdials are as follows:
    24 hr indicator
60 second indicator - this runs all the time whether the chrono is running or not.
60 min indicator - runs when chrono is engaged.

The only info that I can find on the 7050s movement is this description from the Shop. "reputable Japanese quartz chronograph movement".
