there are some really bad horror stories here, really bad ones.
So that begs a couple of questions for me. First, in your experience, do Invicta models need to be repaired often within that warranty period, or is it mostly just flukes as in the case of my Sea Spider? Second, what do you think the problem is with their CS? Why can't they get it together?

It seems to me that with invicta there is no ratio as to how many watches will fail, get damaged in shipping, show up broken or doa. There are alot of variables that can go into it, their CS is pretty dismal, I have been very fortunate to have nothing but good luck, other's here have had nothing but terrible luck. Their CS from what I have read is terrible, seems like when things do go wrong for invicta it's bad for the customer.

I wish they would turn things around and get the crappy CS under control, but then again Eyal keeps lining his pockets, so in all honesty what does he care.

Alot of people just buy a few invicta's here and there for the variety of styles and colors, and for the price you can acquire them at. Also you can get a few different models with a nice selections and styles of movements. Invicta got my feet wet in the watch world, and really got me on the path to gaining some WIS, and helping me out. It has also provided the same service for alot of other members here.

Some people here are sick of invicta and most move on to other brands of higher lever of watches, some of us just stick with invicta and purchase what we like, and what style we might be after. Or a look we really enjoy.

For instance I really want a green bezel diver in a 43mm or larger case size, just so happens invicta makes one that I really like and one that I can really afford, there you go bingo. Seems like thats really the formula for them.

That is funny that you say that. I wore the same watch for 12 years or so until it crapped out on me 6 months ago. Invicta's different sizes and styles has attracted me to actually collecting watches. I wonder if my watch collecting will be the same as what you have just described.

Sounds like Invicta might be a "gateway" watch.

    Hello,

i sent in my watch and according to the watchmaker (another than the initial one i spoke with) the problem might be that since the watch has been sitting for a while, the oil has dried up, so according to him its just a question of taking the watch apart and re-oiling the whole thing. He says thats usually what the common problem is.

Also they offer 1 year warranty on their work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now thats a big advantage over going through invicta!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe...or they might lose it, or return it to you in 10 months in worse shape than you got it, etc. The short story is that Invicta makes some cool watches for short money, but the CS in general is not good.

I finally got my watch back, i had it fixed within a week but the same day i got it, it crapped out on me not even 4 hours into wearing it. Since they offer a warranty on their work i sent it back to the watch repair shop and they fixed it for good.

When i came back with the watch you could see the repair man was dissapointed at himself and that he realy has pride in is work.

all in all the local shops in this type of situation tend to help u out a lot, the lesson is if you got a broken invicta support the repair shops, the put more heart into their work.

    pics will be coming soon
