Default Invicta straps--OK, or will I be sorry?

i ordered some straps that come in a set of 3 with "Invicta spring bars" and I wonder...will my watch go flying off the strap at some point due to a faulty spring bar? Or is their QC not bad in this area? Anyone know?

    LW,
With all due respect, it is obvious that you have a fundamentally negative attitude towards Invicta...so why keep buying their products?
This is not an attempt to illicit more banter but an honest question.
I would bet that more than one other Invicta enthusiast in our forum is thinking the same. If there is a brand you're confident with (and you have mentioned a few you seem to like) why not just stick with them?

Charles, I'll answer you in a PM.

However, I would appreciate anyone's experience with their straps. Thanks!

Firstly, I'd like to point you to our plating poll. Maybe the responses will help ease your concerns. Most people responded that they didn't have problems.

Secondly, are you refering to the Lupah straps with built-in spring bars? I have a Lupah with this style strap and it never loosened or popped off my wrist. It's as solid as any strap I own.

    thanks for the link!

I don't know if they are intended for Lupahs. they come in a group of 3, they are 20mm and I wanted to use them on my blue Invicta pseudo submariner (whose number I forgot) and also other non-Invicta watches. all have 20mm lugs.

I realize now i didn't mention that they come with "quick change" pins and that sounded like something that might create problems. however, if I use the pins that come with each watch, I should be okay. I hope!

So, I was less concerned about the integrity of the strap itself than the functioning of the pins that come with them.

    Thanks for responding!

As far as I know I have not heard any issues related to the quick change pins used by Invicta. I in fact own two Lupah's and a mechanical three hand that use them. I have had these watches over a year and have not had one problem with them.
I collect watches.... It's my thing... it's what I do.

The quick change pins are used on the Lupahs. They are solid.

I dont think Invicta makes the straps so they should be good. Ive had several withthe quick pins and they performed well.
