Default Need HELP with Sentinel Grand Diver...#3441

I have just received the Invicta Sentinel Grand Diver (3441), followed the manual instructions for setting the date, the first number moved and then the movement stopped with no more movement. I pushed the crown back in, brought back out to the 1 position...no movement. I pulled the crown out the the 2 position, brought it back to the 1 position...no movement. I have pulled out and rotated the time hands...no movement.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is yes, what did you do to correct. I am really feeling this watch and do not want to return if not necessary. HELP!

Hopefully our chrono mechanic is around to help you out. I saw your watch on the net, it looks nice. I have no experience with this movement or watch.

Does the date change if you set the time forward to 12:00 or past? If it does, then move the time to 6:00 and try resetting the date. I think the date sets by moving the crown to position one and rotating it up (clockwise in other words).

If that doesn't work, you may have a defective watch. Depending on where you purchased it, you may wish to send it back for an exchange or refund.

It would not move at all after the first move of only one number. I have gone back several times with same attempt and still no movement.

I had that happen with a different brand; Could not get the date to change via the crown so I pulled out to the second position and turned the time to make the date flip several times (thinking that maybe it needed to get worked in a bit). After turning the date 5 or 6 days via this method I went back and tried it with crown and it worked. Good luck!
