    Default Invicta Speedway Reserve question

This is the watch that I have.

I was wondering if this is a copy of some famous maker watch or is this an Invicta design? I never bothered to check because I didn't recognize it as a design made famous by another brand, but there are watches that I never heard of. I am pretty well versed in famous design watches and I figured it was an Invicta design. So, is it? TIA.

The Invicta Speedway line is an homage to the Rolex Daytona in the way that the Pro Diver is an homage to the Submariner. The Reserve Speedway is a few models removed from the first Speedway and has taken on its own look, but the roots are still there.

I know that the original Speedway design is of the Rolex Daytona, but this newer design doesn't, to me, look ANYTHING like any Rolex, which I think is a good thing. So, it is uniquly an Invicta? Good. I prefer it that way.

I have a ss reserve speedway w/white dial and I am really happy with it. It's my first reserve watch.

The case design of the reserve speedways remind me a little bit of the Hysek Abyss

Wow, and here I thought I had something original by Invicta. Well, at least it's not an AP or Hublot or something REALLY popular, and it's still not a total ripoff.
