    Default First Post, First Cheese!

    Greetings all!

    With my first Invicta purchase - a 4721 - I'm moving officially from lurker..er,

    guest, to poster!

Could not resist the deal at Amazon: $99.95, no tax, free 1-day shipping and a free extended platinum warranty!

So far I am extremely impressed.

Haven't had a chance to test it yet but for 5 days now it's been keeping exactly the same time as my Accutron Gemini chrono (Valjoux 7750). That's promising for the Technica movement, which I must admit is one of the main reasons I jumped at this vs the Legend (maybe next time!)...

    Also:
    Good water resist (660 ft)
    Screw-down crown
    Hacking seconds
Very solid bracelet and non-stamped clasp
Nice movement decoration esp. vs the Miyota
    Really well-finished overall

This is a GREAT forum. I'm hooked now like the rest of you!

some pix attached, will post a better movement photo...

BD, congratulations on the new cheese. I'm glad you decided to join us, but you didn't have to wait for your watch to arrive. Anybody who wants to talk about Invicta is welcome.

Thanks guys. 13Echo, saw your (awesome) 4721 pix after I sent my post--I've only seen this model 3 times so far now on the forum. Anyone know about the auto Technica holding up long-term?

Thanks on the pics:). I had a spurt of pic taking today, probably brought on by a new watch.....

Long term, not sure. There are plenty of posts on the web that reference this company(Technica), and I believe it is now an Invicta owned entity.

I am sure someone will be along with some more useful info. on the movement....

Welcome BD, I am catching up today and was going backwards on posts and just commented on 13Echo's fine piece of wrist jewelry (same as yours)!! It's very nice, you should be thrilled! If you haven't, go back and take a look at his pics.....you'll like your watch even more (ha).
