Default Invicta Pro Diver Abyss Automatic 2686

Hey everyone new WTF member here. I have been checking out the Omega forum so far because I have an 1982 Titane model. I am looking for a another watch but dont really want to spend over 300 bucks. The Invicta Pro Diver Abyss Automatic 2686 with the MOP dial is really a sharp looking watch. Does anyone have one of these yet? I like the looks and the price. I would be wearing it as an everyday watch so the automatic movement sounds good to me. I have to pay 40 bucks every 4 years to change the battery in the Omega. If anyone has any actual photos of this watch I would like to see them. All they have online are the stock photos.
    Thanks,
    Doug

Doug, welcome to the OIF. I don't have an Abyss, but I'm sure one of the members can help. Have you checked out our recent thread on MOP?

I have model 2845 which is slightly smaller in diameter with a Miyota day/date movement and green bezel. I really like it. It was one of my first Invicta's, still in high rotation.

I have a 2686 Abyss. I wasn't looking for that model, I was in a store buying another model and saw it at a great price so I picked it up as well. It has really grown on me. I really love it. If you don't look closely, it just looks like a white face and black rim. but if you look a bit closer the white is quite dazzling with the mother of pearl. It would be my every day all day for work watch but now I like it too much, I want to keep it looking new, sparkling. In fact, I might buy a back up so i can wear it all the time but keep one looking new for dressier occasions.

I have 4 of them (but not the white dial), they're great watches for the money and don't look like Rolex clones.

Solid watches. Good value. However, they have a funky steel cage on the back, which can be removed with a screw driver. That's the only thing I disliked about the original version.

My 2686 has become my favorite. I like mine so much that I just decided to buy another one as a backup in case something bad happens to the one i already have.

I have attached pictures of the 2 of them.

Sorry that the image quality is not great, I only had my mobile phone camera available.

    Congratulations on your 2687.

I'm going to the store tomorrow with the hopes of seeing a 2687 in person, with a wallet full of cash just in case its there and calls to me. But also thinking about a Tissot or Seiko.

I've worn 4 watches today, different styles for different parts of the day. I'm sitting here relaxing before bed enjoying my 2686 while I cruise the forums.
