Default FYI Duty & Tax Invoice

If I should have known this or should have asked, shame on me. I just received an invoice from Fed X for $30 for Duty and Tax on a watch I purchased from a forum member that I learned later lives outside of the US. Never even thought to ask where it was coming from, maybe I should have.
Regardless, just giving a heads up to anyone that is considering a private purchase.....see where it is coming from and consider the potential additional charges.

    Yup.. Good advise...

And value is based on insured values for the over $100 area... Typically you need to add about 3-5% of purchase price for US Duty.. All in all it's not too bad comparably.. Our European members get like 15-20% added for out of country purchases!!!!
