Default Ball Engineer Master Diver II TMT Limited Edition Crown Issues

    Hello,

I own several Ball watches and this is the first time is has ever happened.

My Ball Engineer Master Diver II TMT Limited Edition watch's scredown crown is not working properly. I can pull the whole crown out; however, it does not screw back on. It seems to catch maybe half a thread and then it meets resistance.

Any suggestions? Watch is unfortunately out of warranty...

    Thanks, Peter

Does not sound good, probably will need full tube and crown assembly along with COA. I would send to Ball.
    Sorry,

    Default Ball address?

Thanks for your reply. How would I get the watch safely to Ball? Would I be sending it nationally or to Europe? Thanks,

Hello rasko, and welcome. I had what sounds like the same crown problem with my Fireman.
I just put the watch on the pillow and into the Ball box. Double wrapped it in bubble wrap, and sent it (with a repair authorization number) to BallUSA thru The UPS Store. It came back repaired in less than two weeks. (If it's still under warranty, include a photocopy of your warranty card).

I would call first to let them know you are shipping a repair to them.

Well, you'd have to call them in order to get a Repair Authorization Number.
