    Default Why ball???

So Having read the website and various comments on this forum. Bearing in mind I am the owner of a BALL EM II Diver (which I think is a lovely time peice).

Can someone explain to this Limey why you guys are so passionate about this brand?

    Thanks

The EMII Diver was my beginning with Ball. As you might guess from my avatar, I am an avid diver. My favorite watch to date is the Ball EH Trieste, Wichita I feel very fortunate to own. It is more accurate than my Omega SMP 2531.80. It keeps time within a couple of seconds per day when I compare it to the online atomic clock. It's an awesome chronograph visible in any level or absence of light, WR to 600 /2000 feet (far deeper than I will ever go). It's built like a tank and capable of withstanding colder temperatures than I ever want to experience and I think it looks great, too. What more could I ask for in a watch?
I guess that sums up what I love about Ball Watch.
    Regards,
    Jeff

I have to agree although there are some models are traditional in appearence I would agree that originality is the reason I purchased, and my EM II Diver does seem to be a head turner. So I feel I must Champion the cause in the UK.

Is it wierd I have OCD with the lume of this watch? Feel like I am living in the dark all the time just to see the 3H tubes!!!

The more I learned the more I liked them. I thought I will never ski downhill at 100 MPH or dive 1000 ft. Then if the watch is built to do that it will be great for any thing I can thow at it and the lume is great.

I think it is mandatory for all Ball watch owners to experience, share with others:

    At a movie theatre
    Driving at night
    Concert? Club
    Under UV light!!

The driving at night, has caused a few moments where my focus has been diverted OOPS!!

Oh and my wife has banned me from wearing my watch in bed. She says it's too bright. At least she knows what time it is. Ha Ha
