I must admit, the lume on the bezel of my Trieste does not match the quality of the rest of the watch. That was a little bit of a disappointment to me, but it isn't a big deal to me. The single GTLS pip provides a good starting point for timing, and I will likely use the chronograph for any dive timing anyway. If I could pick up some of the newer SuperLuminova paint for a couple of bucks, I might alter the bezel as a project. But, either way, the Trieste is the first watch I think of putting on in most situations. It has the accuracy of a chronometer, incredible water resistance, is readable in any conditions and it even looks cool! How much more could I want from one watch? I only regret not yet introducing it to ocean diving. As soon as finances allow, that will be my first order of business.
Regards,
Jeff
I love the treiste...a remake with SuperLuminova and with a Ball Explorer sponsor would be cool...Dr. Ballard, the explorer guy who found the Titanic would be cool.
