    Default Your (the OP's) problems are clearly the exception rather than the rule.

    I won't add too much to what others have already clearly stated above, but just summarize; most Ball watches are quite reliable, and most of us that have owned one or more have never ever had to have it (or them) serviced or repaired for manufacturer's defects. I've owned somewhere near 35 Ball watches, and only one, bought second hand, had a problem that needed servicing. Those are pretty good odds. I really am skeptical about brand new members who join forums such as these, and post negative or confrontational messages to start things off. Yes, such things happen, but the problems stated are quite exceptional in the whole scheme of things with Ball, while consistency, durability and accuracy more fairly characterize the typical Ball watch.
