Default Vintage returns from Swiss servicing

Finally the 1962 has returned from a complete overhaul, including rebuilding the 36mm rose gold case. I am very happy with the results and it is getting many wrist hours! It has a 268 movement and is keeping time well within COSC specs. I did say I would share some pictures when it returned so here are a couple of quick shots ....

Beautiful! Were there many parts that had to be replaced, or were most of them simply restored?

When I had other vintages serviced from the Toronto Swatch Group Centre, all parts replaced were returned with the watch but when I received this back from Europe, no parts were included. The repair tag identified 3 repair items: 1. complete watch servicing 2. case rebuilding 3. dial refinishing.

Never got a reason why the case needed to be rebuilt but when it returned, there were protective plastic films on the face and back of the watch. It actually looked brand new - not a scratch anywhere! I was really questioning spending nearly $2G getting the work completed but after seeing the results, I am very satisfied!
