    Default New arrival!!!

Just got this yesterday so sorry for the crappy photos!

Ordered it new but had the AD swap bracelets (he supplied the Bond in place of the Speedy usually supplied for no extra cost) and fit a new dial (sourced from Ofrei) as part of the deal.
OK I admit it! I'm a watch tart!

Omega "Bond" SMP (Gone) Omega 2254.50 (Gone) SS Rolex Sub Date (Gone) Rolex SD (Gone) JLC Master RDM (Gone) 42mm Omega PO (Gone) 2254.50 (2nd...gone!) Tissot PRC200 (Gone) Timex Iron man (current), Fossil "Speedway" Chrono (Current).

Beautiful! I must know about the dial... applied markers! I looked on the Ofrei site at 1120 cal. dials, but couldn't find it, tell us more ...

The dial is from an SMP "Non America's Cup" Model 2230.50 (41mm case on bracelet) which was a lovely watch, discontinued for years.

The Omega dial part No. is (I think) 064 WZ 3121 001 and can be found on Ofrei's site under 1120 cal dials.
Cost just under $200 plus shipping.
Don't order a dial using that part No. without confirmation as I'm assuming it's correct from the dial packet!

I think it really adds something and well worth doing unless your'e planning on selling the watch anytime soon. You may not get your investment back unless the buyer is very keen for that dial combo and prepared to pay for the convenience of having it already fitted!
Of course I still have the unused original dial.

    Me, I'm keeping this one!.....Honest

    Mac.

Uh huh. I've said the same thing plenty of times!

That's a great combo. It's nearly what I would consider the perfect ingredients. Nice custom job!
Can you help me fix my watch?..Where does this: go inside this?: I guess that's what I get for buying it on eBay!!!

I have said the same thing also, mine was just part of a trade for a Rolex Sub. I also traded my SMP 'Great White' of which I said the same. I guess this fickelness is part of the Watch desease that we all seem to share.

Well "Never say never" I suppose, however I'm hoping that with this, the DeVille Power Reserve (on order) and the Tag retro Carrera (on order) I'll be sorted for most watch occaisions

Well, I ordered the replacement dial yesterday from Ofrei, now I'm just wondering how long it will take to get here. The site says allow 6 weeks (special order) but the email I got says they stock some special order parts. I guess it'll get here when it gets here.

There's no AD within 100 miles of me, but here in town we have a fully competent and completely trustworthy watchsmith, so can I have a pro change this dial out, or should I send it to an AD somewhere? Thanks for any advice!

Just be aware that by doing it you're probably voiding your warranty (if it's still under warranty of course).
Mine's brand new but I thought it worth the chance as these are very reliable watches and it was done by the same AD who I bought the watch off.
Also bear in mind that your watch maker must be able to correctly seal and pressure test the watch after he's done! After all it is a diver.

Hope this helps and make sure you post pics
