    Default Recommendations Please!

Please recommend a good source for Omega watches, price and inventory.

I'd also be interested in the your opinion of the best Omega, new or used, that can be purchased in the $2000-2500 range. I'd prefer not to have diver's watch or a chronometer for this particular purchase.

    Thanks

You should look into the De Ville series. Check member John Wilson's pictures in the Omega Member's Gallery - he owns several besides Speedies and SMPs.

Scout the various sales forums, and check our sponsors.

Now, if you want vintage you have more choices that will be well under or up to your budget. Before the quartz revolution Omega was on top of their game and made some of the best movements around. Actually, some of their quartz movements were legendary too.

You mean a Chronograph or Chronometer certified watch?

I meant chronograph. Chronometer certification would be fine.

Omega Aqua Terra, DeVille or Constellation. I think you can find them in the $2500 range.
