So, any watch with the 33xx is a potential problem? I guess the entire Broad Arrow line has the 3313 and they are great! at least in looks...
So, will you avoid buying one of them?

Hey guys, today i brought the omega 221.51.00 PO, i have been a long time Omega fan after purchasing the watch from a store in melbourne i walked out and hoped into the car and started playing with it. to my horror i could not get it too work., i then went back to the store and they told me that the power reserve was not working????, so now i have to wait 2 days for a replacement watch. I was utterly dissapointed with the quality and for the price $6000aus that i paid i hope that i'm not going to have on going problems(for there sake
)
Hey, Grimreaper - when I told the Forum about the experience of my good (non-Forum) friend, who's now on his FOURTH Seamaster PO Chrono in about a month, I was criticised in some quarters. I wasn't entirely believed and one poster even implied I could be a troll!! This is sad, as I believed one of the points of these discussions was to warn others of potential and actual problems, as well as celebrate ownership of most of the beautiful watches we own. I provided the addresses of the dealerships that sold the watches and the tenor of the posts began to change.
I notice you've had no response, so far, to your account of another shocking failure of what I assume is a new Omega. You have my sympathy, as my friend and I have had, between us, a total of three dud Speedmasters and three dud Seamasters. That means six out of eight watches were unfit for purpose. The more you think about that, the more appalling it becomes. I'd love one of the new Solar Impulse watches, but the 3603 movement has the problematic co-axial escapement. An old-style watch repairer tells me the co-axial is NOT up to expectations and starting to build a reputation for unreliability. I've gone for a Rolex GMT2 instead and will not be adding any more Omegas to my collection.
Clearly, Omega has put this supposedly revolutionary style of movement into production with something less than a perfect 'settling in' period. The factory claims the co-axial brings "greater precision and durability." Hmmm. I'm sorry to hear of your problem and hope your dealer takes care of you.![]()
The dealer had to get a new watch for me and so fare so good (the AD also threw in some $300 cufflinks) i started another forum for the 2210.51.00.
In the past week the new watch hasn't lost or gained a sec, so i'm pritty impressed but at the same time weary about the reliability, time will tell![]()
