Very nice photos and watch. The Deville doesn't seem as popular as some other Omega models, but this I imagine is because it is more expensive. I like it though. Congratulations.

I am not getting the dial of this watch. 10pm is also 2200; but, a 10 is where the 5 should be, or 1700. What am I missing?

    I just love those lugs...

@timefinder: The small figures are the same like on a bezel of some other GMT's... You use them only with the GMT hand...

Nice watch; but, that would confuse me silly. I like the bezel better where you can rotate it to the second hand. No wonder why people can't tell time and go digital! ;)

That, to me, is the perfect dress watch. Many congratulations on a sweet acquisition.

Thanks for the additional pictures John.

It's just the watch for an international cocktail party-going jet-setter

Christmas cometh early to a certain corner of Ohio or do you have something else lined up for the 25th?

Enjoy it and be well now

    Hi There Mr Haakon

Good to have you with us in our new house

While it's true that De Villes are more expensive than the other lines Omega carries, it's also because they represent a different type of watch, something more dress-style. The bracelet which I'm sure you've seen is an absolute work of art and as a result, not inexpensive to produce either. The De Ville's design therefore appeals to a different market and since as you know, more sports models are sold these days, the De Ville by comparison appears less popular. That though has resulted in good values in the secondary market for the buyer

Oh and one other thing. I noticed that you are listed as a new member here but you had been with us in the ole' WTF before. If you'd like to have your post count changed to incorporate your previous postings, simply PM John. You were on 107 before.

    Have a nice day now
