I have thought about it and I may create a model solely to with the tubes. It would be nice to offer a choice between the two technologies and still maintain the same design.
The only concern with dive watches is using the tubes wouldn't do much in the water unless you are in complete darkness. Whereas with luminous paints you will have the sun continuing to charge it and when you go into a shady area the lume would ignite.
Now for those who enjoy the bezel watch in other sports and activities it would look great with a tube model. Its defiantly on the drawing board. Perhaps one in the Harbormaster line and another in the upcoming collection.
Ball is the only designer who incorporates the tubes into a nice looking piece, the others are just aimed at a military approach.
