Default My first Lum-tec on the way

    Hi everybody,
I first found mention of Lum-tec through Watch Snob. I came into a $1000 from a relative and wanted to buy something meaningful. I love watches but don't have tons of money to spend on them, so I was looking for value. Loved the look of the Lum-tecs, I ordered an M46 yesterday. Reside up in Toronto, Canada and sent a question to Canadian dealer Wristweapon who responded quickly. So I took the plunge. Another thing I liked about Lum-tec was the story behind the company, their goals to do quality pieces at good prices.

And of course all the ringing endorsements from the people in this forum. Sounds like this company appreciates their customers and that was important to me as well.

So now I patiently wait for my purchase.

    First of all .... WELCOME!

This is one purchase you will not regret, and will exceed all your expectations.

You picked a good one in the M46, so wear it proudly and post us a wrist-pic when it arrives.

    Don't be a stranger Mktcrasher .... we're family here!

Welcome to both the forums and Lumtec, if your like most of us it will not be your last Lumtec. I have a M48 that I use for work, it is similar to the one you ordered but has a big date on top.
    Another great watch by Lumtec

Thanks for the welcome everyone...can't wait to get my hands on my Lum-tec. I will certainly post pic when I do have it. I will also keep my eye on the new designs and my next want/need.

I currently wear a Seiko Arctura Kinetic which I really still like and has run with no problems since 2005. Chose the M46 cause my Seiko is white faced and silver, so now I will have a dark dressier watch. Also have a G-Shock for the times I am ultra casual or doing something at the cottage or outdoors.

    Glad to be here.
