It's been 6 months since I started this thread. I'm curious if there has been any additional thought given to producing a smaller LT again?

The problem is, considering the cost of re-tooling for a new watch, business acumen says it'll only be worth it if enough watches of this new size sell to justify the expense. A small company doesn't necessarily have the luxury of producing various models in various sizes due to the smaller customer base. Personally, I'd like to see everyone get the watch they want, but that just can't happen. If the fashion trend is moving to smaller watch sizes, maybe you'll get the more vintage size. Maybe a poll is in order??
My $.02 worth.
If shrinking V to 40mm, in order to keep the watch "proportionately" appealing, it would also have to be thinner.
The challenge here would be that I'm not sure just how much thinner they can make it, due to the given thickness of the caliber. Miyota 9015 is thinner than ETA in V1-4, so perhaps they can make the 40mm version thinner.
Otherwise I can assure you that a 40mm V at the "current" thickness would not look very good.

It doesn't necessarily need to be a V series, but in my view LT should produce at least one smaller model. If a watchmaker completely abandons a segment of its customer base that wants smaller watches, they will return the "favor". Once gone, they will be hard to recapture.
A 39 - 40 mm model ?
Why not a 42mm model. Most people have watches in that group.
For me personally; it doesn't matter.
I have watches from 40 to 44 (exclusive crowns).
But the most watches i have; are in ... 42, 44 mm (thx to Lum-Tec![]()
I am all for smaller models, already in line for a 40mm 300M. I wish for a 39-40mm Bull with a hand winder movement.
