Default New M25 on Tungsten bracelet -- Bracelet install saga..

    Well, well well...

Took me about an hour to put the bracelet on today. Extremely tight fit and thank goodness the case and bracelet are tungsten or I would be very disappointed with the outcome..

I went through 2 Bergeon 6111D small fork tips and one 1.20MM bergeon screw tip. In addition bent one of the spring bar ends..

This is such a tight fit I didn't think I was going to be able to get the bars in.

Here's a wrist shot.. Alot of shine!!! We won't even talk about the weight as its H-E-A-V-Y!!!

Not my best photo but had an iphone 3GS with me so there it is...

I am going to leave on the bracelet for a day. Then it's back to my custom Europelli's!!!

    Cheers!

Thanks for the effort showing it with the bracelet on. Looks great man.

It still will be a good while for my M27 to be ready, but from all the stories I hear about L-T bracelet mounting troubles, I think I will ask if they can ship mine with the bracelet already on...

BTW What's the total weight of an M tungsten with the bracelet on?

    Cheers,

    Looking good Greg

I tried to put the bracelet on my M23 the other day but gave up after about 20 minutes of trying, knowing that I wasn't going to keep it on. It seemed near impossible to me... no worry though as I don't do bracelets of any kind.

Get some pics on those straps your always on about

We will have to do a video of installing the bracelet to make it easier to install. We really have not installed one yet that took more than 3 minutes! We actually have our packing/shipping people test fit the bracelets, take them off, install the leather straps, then package the watches in the box. They have not reported any trouble installing them and i have watched them install them in less than a minute. I have done a bunch as well without any trouble. I am wondering if a video would be of great help as they are not hard at all if done a certain way. We have a Canon 7D camera which does HD video and a close range 1:1 macro lens so i think we will work on a video this week. One thing to note: I think it would be nearly impossible to install the bracelet using a springbar tool as it would not allow any movement. We use a 1.20 tip screwdriver.

Our M20,21,22 should be a bit over 300 grams with the bracelet! M23,24,25 are about 15 grams heavier than the M6,M7,M8.

It was a bit tricky and frustrating at first. Once I settled into a more patient frame of mind it was all fine. I found the pointy end of a spring bar tool was all that was required to coax the pins into the holes.

Now I feel like an idiot

Video would be great though, I am sure it's a simple technique once you see it.

I used a "mini" springbar tool not a conventional one. Sorry I forgot to mention that.
