Default Abercrombie & Fitch Cushion sold on the Bay tonight

I watched this listing for a week -- I was itching to bid more but I held off because the two I own are too small to wear. However, I was a bit surprised that it did not sell for more. Has anyone seen others like this one? Does anyone have more information on Hamilton gold filled Cushions with Abercrombie & Fitch Co. dials? Rene, Will, Bryan, Tom??

I would add a photo, but I dislike this new site so much that I don't feel like learning how....

It was the first one I had seen. I don't know anything about it.

Looks like a '30s-'40s Cushion B model, given the 987-A movement and "W 14K gold-filled" stamp on the outer case back.

    Here are the pics:

This is an new one on me. What's interesting is that based on some information I've found on the Interweb (please PM me for the links), the case and movement seem to date from 1937.

Yet I've never seen a 987A in the older style cushion case before. The round dial looks like a re-branded Palisade/Oakley:

I didn't know the Palisade dial would be the correct size for the Cushion case. I'll put mine next to each other and see it for myself. Never occurred to me to do that before.

I guess there is a first time for everything!

    Enjoy!
