Hi Alex,
Happy New Year to you and your family. I haven't been at the computer for a few days, so I apologise for my late reply. I was a bit "shakey" after they changed some of my medication so I decided to leave the clock until I felt a little better. I am going to start work on it later today or tomorrow. Did I tell you that I managed to get replacement thread for the clock at a really great price?
Once this one is done I am going to maybe try and get a couple of old scrap pocket watches and have a bit of a go at them. I have missed out on a few "job lots" of old non-working wrist watches on the bay. I was thinking I could even have a go at them as long as they were of no value and were not working already.

Hope all is well and ready for a new year.
Picked up an old clock from the bay and took it home, had it working before bed. Thought of you, hows the work on the suspension clock coming, been looking for one on ebay just so I can get some experience.
