Hey Frank, Sounds great. I know the word is starting to get out about the Ananta collection and the Spring Drive. I sure hope the good deal is still available in 8 or 9 months. that is icing on the cake avoiding the sales tax! Good on ya! Yeah, I think Molle has an amazing collection. At first I thought he was just showing his wish list, but wow, to actually own all those fine timepieces!! truly amazing! take it easy, Ed
Around 3 weeks. They are in demand according to Mrs. Perez. I guess the only keep a few in display. She told me she sold 3 Spring Drive Anantas last month. For as long as the economy is the way it is now, I am sure you'll be able to fetch the 25% discount rate. What really helps the cause is not having to shell out another $230 for sales tax!. Molle's collection is amazing. I don't think I have ever seen anyone with so many beautiful Grand Seikos. Talk about being a passionate fan about them. How are the friendly skies treating you today? Frank
Hi Frank, Ok, absolutely! I was gonna ask you if they were willing to absorb the sales tax, good to know. If I could walk out the door with it for $2400 to $2500, I think I could do it late this year!! I know the longer I wait, I risk losing the 25% discount, but it just isn't possible for me right now. I am really excited for you. I know how great it feels to get a dream watch!! How bout that GS GMT of Molle's! That is amazing, would love to see one up close someday! When is the ETA for your awesome watch? have a good one, Ed
Thanks! I am pretty excited about it. Another good thing is that Nemaro was willing to absorb the sales tax (I told them I was also considering buying the watch from an out of state AD). Let me know how it goes for you. The Ananta Automatic Chronograph is a seriously beautiful timepiece and looks superb with the black croc strap. Let me know next time you are scheduled to fly out of MIA for a cafe con leche. Frank
Hey bro, that's great news!! Congrats! You got a great watch at a great price! Excellent news. I can't wait to hear all the details when you receive your watch. I am really ready to pull the trigger also, but my wife has other plans for my watch allowance, so we are in negotiations (plus have a daughter in college!!). I just looked at the pic of your watch again, what a beauty!
Hello Captain.... I pulled the trigger today and finally reserved my new Seiko Ananta Spring Drive GMT from Nemaro! I got model number SNR019 with white dial and metal bracelet. Mrs. Perez managed to get me 25% off bringing down the price from $4,300 to $3,225! This was a terrific deal! Much cheaper than anything you can source directly from Japan at the moment. I suspect you can get that Ananta Automatic Chronograph for no more than $2,400 out the door. That kind of money does not buy anything from Seiya, Higuchi and Chino for a similar Seiko auto Chrono.
