    My Watchbox

    Default Very Interesting!!

Bluesky, I am enjoying reading your story--the fact your family was involved with fine watches during a most interesting time in your country's history is fascinating.

I recently found a non-working Longines (gold case!!) tank style among my deceased father-in-law's possessions. Since he was very frugal, I was surprised he owned such a nice watch. I was told a friend of his inherited a few watches from his dad and gave them to my FIL--

Glad you found a person to work on your watches. I am in search of a good, inexpensive (I know, oxymoron) maker to fix this watch--while I own a few Elgins and 2 Accutrons, this is by far the nicest watch I own--
