Default yes exactly Terry, thats the one!....I put some hours in finding this model

and confirming it was the US measurement model, and jeepers they make them hard to understand which one is which.

Thanks Scott, I appreciated trying to help you out for the past few days to narrow down the choices to that US version Citizen Aqualand, which was alittle hard to figure out what models they are.
This model is the US imperial model to the best of my knowledge and research, and regardless of the retail price will be your best bet for what your looking for, unless you want to step up and spend even more money, money like dive computers cost of which this watch actually is.

Good luck & choose wise grasshopper.

    Cheers,
    Jim

The C500 movement is the metric version, while the C506 is the Imperial US-only version. Good to know, but they sure could have made it easier on consumers to add a few words in the manual saying as much. So Nicholas, Jim & Terry were correct (I should have know not to doubt you guys! )

So good news is the JP1040 version will do what I want it to.

Now I just need to decide if I want to spend the extra money just to get that feature. I'm leaning towards yes, mainly because the analog-digital look of the watch is such a different look than anything I have. But still thinking about it as it's more than I wanted to put into this watch. Depends on if any other options presents itself....

You & I both, no clue on why anyone would want to change the setting based on geography...

Scott, the good thing in that message that Terry mentioned of this gents thoughts of conversion are, that this model is the US version!
I'm sure this baby has all the features you could want in a full featured US based Dive watch.

If you do decide to grab one, look around & shop prices, I'm sure you could end up with one for not too much over your $200 range mate!

    Cheers & Good luck-

    I like this orient-

its pretty big, nice display, and water resistant. It's 290, but they have tons of deals and specials on their watches. I own a diver, and it's always worked for me even after a lot of water time.

Can anyone confirm if you can have two time zones on the JP1040?

One as analog time and the other within the digital window.

I like the JP1040 and that would be a bonus.

    Thanks.
