Glad to hear you like it too.

I agree! The bracelet and the clasp are not that great. I have seen a few heavier solid link bracelets on ebay, but they don't have solid end links either.

The only thing I dont like about the Orient is the band. I want to replace it with the william Jean super oyster II but haven't been succesful in locating one. Both keep great time but the Orient is "quiet", the Invicta has kind of a funny rattle when I move around vigorously but it doesnt bother me. I am looking for another "blue dial" watch and probaly will go with the blue Mako pretty soon. Not to hijack the thread but do any of our sponsors have quality solid end link bracelets?

    Thanks very much Daron!

My brother just picked up a WZ0091ER for me in Japan. It's almost $200 cheaper than some of the ebay sellers in Japan.

    Thanks Jimmy!

You mean the WZ0091ER, right? My dress watches are all vintage Swiss, so I wanted to get a brand new Japanese one for a long time. I thought about the Seiko mechanical line (6R15). They look great and I'm sure the fit and finish are excellent. But, I kind of wanted get a slightly unique one. So, this Orient got my vote lol.

    Best,

    - Hiro

Default The plan has changed a bit Jimmy.

My brother checked out four different Orient Star models in person at a store and told me how they looked. Well, I decided to go with a different OS model.

Default Yes the WZ0091ER...You made a wise choice!

    it is beautiful.

I'd love to see your vintage swiss dress watches some day, even any swiss divers you may have. You sure do have good taste in watches Hiro.

    Thanks,
    Jim
