That is a good point and I feel the same way to a degree, but after reading Seiko CEO's comments about how important it is to Seiko that the Ananta line do well in the US, I am concerned. Either way, Seiko isn't going anywhere and knowledgeable connoisseurs will always find a way. Hey, with the internet and a credit card you can get just about anything, but I would like to see the watches go head to head with Rolex, Cartier, etc in an appropriate display. I like Seiko's chances, especially with the GS and Ananta collections.

I hear ya. I want that watch (SRQ003 in a bad way also!!). Nothing against the Daytona, I love those also, but I don't like the way Rolex plays hide and seek with the stainless steel version. Here in South Florida, you have to be on a waiting list and be lucky enough to receive a call from a dealer when and if they get one, and you better be ready to buy immediately when offered or it is gone that same day, kind of like when I used to buy my daughter beanie babies way back in the day! haha!
