Default Does anyone know where the cases are made

I have recently purchased a 29er big from Righttime, and have been very pleased - both with Righttime and the watch. The watch is running about +9s a day in the first week. I'm sure this will become even more accurate after the normal "break in" period. I have recently been reading lots of threads on forums about companies using cases produced in other countries, and this git me to wondering... who makes Muhle cases? I doubt knowing will sway my opinion on the watch quality, but it would be nice to be able to brag that even the case is made in Germany. Thanks for any help!

Found out that most, but not all, cases are made by SUG in Germany. Muhle had the second largest orders only to SINN. Not sure if the 29er cases are made there though. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks everybody

That's nice to know! AFAIK Damasko also has a contract with SUG. The cases are supposed to be "ice-hardended" to 60HRC I think that Sinn's "Tegiment" is in-house, though, not sure... I agree though that SUG was Sinn's original caser supplier (if not partly owned by Sinn).

I love my case / case finish - accidentally "tagged" a few hard objects with it etc. but so far, not a sign...

Edit: I can confirm having read the same (but from a Wiki entry ~2008 and not an official press statement):

"Zu den Auftraggebern der Sächsische Uhrentechnologie GmbH Glashütte zählen Uhrenhersteller wie die Sinn Spezialuhren GmbH & Co. KG, die Mühle-Uhren GmbH Glashütte, Lang & Heyne Dresden und Jacques Etoile."
