Did the early LeCoultre Memovox alarm watch have domed crowns or flat unsigned crowns? This one has domed crowns that are said to be original. Thanks

Jaeger LeCoultre usually had the JL logo on them:
However, LeCoultre might have had the same logo, or a different symbol as shown in this thread (top row, 2nd from the left):
Name that crown - I.D. vintage watch crowns please!
Some Memovoxes did have domed crowns, particularly the early manual winds.
The LeCoultre Memovox is not signed Jaeger on any part. This particular watch is triple signed LeCoultre.
I tend to agree with you as far as the earlier ones being domed with the manual wind. On later models, and I don't know what later is, I have seen Jaeger LeCoutre on the dial and JL on the crowns. Most all the early ones for American use were assembled in the U.S. with movements, crowns and the like sent from Switzerland. The cases were U.S. made and say assembled and timed in the U.S.A. This according to most had to do with import tariffs. All the watches were Jaeger LeCoutre, but the early ones I have seen especially the U.S. assembled are only signed LeCoultre. Those that were sold in Europe I believe are signed Jaeger LeCoultre. I just bought the watch pictured above and it is beautiful and works perfectly. Since I have posted I have located several other early Memovox with domed unsigned crowns.
There's a lot more crossover. GLADIATOR and gatorcpa have also looked into these watches and found the rules for logos aren't as hard & fast as you think.
It's in really great condition. Jaeger and LeCoultre worked together since the early 1900's and officially merged in 1937. LeCoultre was originally only a movment manufacturer, making precision chronographs and repeaters. That's why you see their name on the movements that were imported.
The import code VXN is on the balance cock, and the serial number dates the watch to 1954.
Here's my Swiss Memovox from 1966 for comparison:
No import code, and it says Jaeger LeCoultre.
