I was doing a crossword and had to find a 9 letter word for disgusting,meaningless vandalism. The only one that came to mind was STEAMPUNK What's with that!! I was checking etsy and had to log off, what fr----n sacriledge!! Man I need counselling.

log off did you? were you afraid of porn stuff popping up? steampunk has nothing to do with porn or anything "porn-ish" rather it is something akin to king richard's faire or thereabouts--people into some era gone by. they actually have a steampunk day in waltham mass, home of the now defunct waltham watch.

There are some aspects of steampunk I actually enjoy a lot- like the gizmos they use on Warehouse 13, and like Wiki stated, the way the Victorians envisioned the future. But the current wave of S/P artists creating watches the way they do....no, I don't get it either! I usually just try and forget about it as quickly as I can. You have my empathy.
