Default Things associated with particular Watches/Brands

I was wondering if there are common associations people make between watches or brands and occupations or activities. I know there are some really obvious ones (Breitling -> small aircraft pilots), but I was wondering if there are lots of others or if I'm imagining things. Some that I exist (and why):

Breitling Navitimer: Small Aircraft Pilots (APOA)
Rolex Yachtmaster: Sailboat racing (Rolex Cup Races)
    Omega Speedmaster: Engineers (NASA??)
Tag Heuer Monaco: Lemans (Steve McQueen)

I'm sure there are plenty I'm missing, but those are the ones that came to my mind immediately. What other associations do people make?

    BALL - The CSI franchise.
Since Gary Sinise's 9/11/01 flashback scene, I've noticed BALL dials on two different Las Vegas re-runs.

The first and most historically significant would have been the "Railroad Standard" watches of the 1890s. While Ball Watch Co. was not the first, that company carries the name of Webster C. Ball who was the man most responsible for accurate railroad time keeping in the United States.

I didn't know about Webb C. Ball, so thanks for that one. I know that Ball Watches have lots of RR influences, but I didn't realize the history behind them.
