Default Deep Blue Alpha Marine 500 (new purchase)

Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend! I just had a discussion with one of our moderators and he suggested I post this new purchase to the General discussion forum. Deep Blue has done well so far and made a nice reputation for themselves in a short time. This purchase took me right out of my comfort zone since almost all the pieces I have are Invicta Reserve COSC, Specialty, Pro Diver, Sub Aqua and Speedway models. I really liked the look of the DB watches but was just not ready to quite pull the trigger on one, until a guy made me an offer I just couldn't refuse (you know the story). He called me from Texas (I am in Indianapolis IN) He says to me" I just purchased this watch (its only two weeks old, got the bill of sale on it) and I thought I was a Yellow/Orange kinda guy until l strapped it on and then decided I wasn't. Well his loss was my gain. I saved $225 bucks over a new one from the store and this one still had the plastic on the front/back cases and on the clasp. Well, I have no regrets, I simply love it! Yellow/Orange dial and all. The flat lume filled tubes light up your wrist like a flashlight in the dark, its so sick! Yellow background with blue markers and hands. Here are some pics/specs for your consideration.

Black Bezel, Orange Lume Dial,Black Hands Filled with blue lume 500 meters/1650 feet Depth rating

    Sapphire crystal with A/R Coating

back, Deep Blue etched on Rotor

Stainless steel 316L Case & Bracelet, Scissor Deploy clasp with Safety lock Diver bracelet with extension , screw

    links, 1/2 links, deploy clasp

Unique Blue Lume Dial , Raised Hour Markers Black 60 minute markers

Orange flat tube lume filled Hour Markers,12,3,6,9 + Hands

    Unidirectional 120 click bezel

    46mm case, 15mm height, 22mm Lugs, 280 Grams, 10 ounces

Congrats! That is a sharp looking watch. :)

Love the gear-like effect on the bezel.

Good job on a great pick up. I'm not big on yellow dials but that actually looks great. Every time I see a Deep Blue watch posted I feel a pull...even though I REALLY don't need another diver..ha ha. Wear it in good health.

I'm a big fan of yellow divers, and that one looks great. Nice work in picking up a great deal, too!

Indeed, it would not be an exaggeration to describe the history of the computer industry for the past decade as a massive effort to keep up with Apple.

Nice looking watch, like the yellow dial, Slightly different from the norm' and the display case sets the watch off a treat.
