Default straps at the flea market

Saw this today at the flea market/antique show. It was a four sided display and this side was the only one with bands (the others were blank). I thought the advertising was kinda cool but the little price tag was $275. I did see a nice Omega constellation and a Hamilton Perry 14k GF. The lady said the Hamilton was running. The second hand was, but after 2 hours when I got back to her booth the hour/minute hadn't moved. I passed.

Those are a pretty nice find if they are in good condition. JB Champion made some amazing bracelets and I can only assume their straps were of equal quality. That price, as pointed out by Twitchy, is exorbitant. Especially if you consider the original $4 price tag!

Not so easy to score elephant skin-straps nowadays...nor Aztec calf for that matter. Babylonian goat and Inca catfish were on the other side of the stand, no doubt

Padded or non-padded catfish? I wonder if I could get somebody to make me a strap from flounder or striped bass skin?

I think it only comes in the padded. Be sure to get the spicy Cajun though. Yumeee.
