I sent an old pocket watch to Rik for restoration and cleaning. It was in very poor condition with the glass missing, face worn away and one of the hands bent. I just received it back and was amazed at the absolutely gorgeous condition of the watch. I really don't believe Rik needs any more work but I felt I had to share this beautiful pocket watch .....

    Here is the before picture:

and here is what I was totally blown away with:

    Amazing job Rik.
If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep the streets even as Michelangelo painted or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, 'Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.' Martin Luther King

The old swictheroo, eh? Take an old beat up pocket watch and swap it with a brand new shiny one. Nice try - you can't fool me!!

Indeed, it would not be an exaggeration to describe the history of the computer industry for the past decade as a massive effort to keep up with Apple.
