    Question ??? Patron Member???

How does one become a Patron Member ? I want to post a watch for sale and I get this:

steelmatic, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1.Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2.If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

What gives ? Does one have to pay to sell?

The short answer is Yes, you have to be a patron member to post in the Sales Section.

Here are a few links to the info on it.

i have sold a couple of watches here and it was worth the $10. the nice thing about selling in this forum is that a lot of the members live in the united states which makes shipping a watch a lot easier and cheaper for the buyer(and no vat/excise/customs charges/taxes) thus improving the chance to sell. as for the price, well that is the price of the ticket to dance here.

Sell a watch on eBay: 9% fee up to $50 maximum + listing fees (when applicable) for EACH watch. So one watch over $110 is breaking even.

.... and eBay doesn't offer you the chance to learn about a potential purchase by asking fellow members.

Remember, nobody is forcing you to join. And if you have so many other outlets to sell your watch, why complain about the policy here?
Can you help me fix my watch?..Where does this: go inside this?: I guess that's what I get for buying it on eBay!!!

Besides... I think this is the friendliest of all the sites for watch fans and I don't mind doing a little bit to help make sure it stays around for a while.
