    Default Vintage timex batteries..

Hi guys, I'm looking for a replacement battery for my Timex "electric" but am having trouble locating an exact replacement. In fact the model I'm looking to replace doesn't even appear on any cross refeerence charts. My dead battery is a "Timex type AL" any help IDing a suitable replacement would be great.

I don't know how much risk you want to take, but I had the same kind of problem. I took the battery to a Radio Shack and was shown a battery just a fraction of a millimeter larger but of the same voltage. I gambled on it and it worked fine. But please, if you don't feel like taking a chance like this, ignore this post!

battery issue solved and here's what happened.
I borrowed a caliper from work and measure the dimensions of the battery. It matches an Energizer 357( go figure)
