Lots of purchases lately. I do vicariously enjoy reading about someone's latest catch and seeing the pictures.

So what has caught your eye lately? Anything coming your way?

What hasn't would be a shorter list.

Nothing at the moment, but the hunt is on for a few vintage pieces including:

    a Longines 22A or 22AS

I also wouldn't mind grabbing an Omega 18K Seamster 321, or a Rolex Zephyr - both from the early/mid 60's.

After the visit John & I paid to RGM on Friday, there may be a modern watch fund started soon too.
Can you help me fix my watch?..Where does this: go inside this?: I guess that's what I get for buying it on eBay!!!

Orange Watch Companies MilSub-9411 and maybe MilSub-5517 (second release, I already have first release one so I ain't sure if I get an other one).

And I know I have some sterling silver watch waiting for me in my future :)

Ball Trainmaster Power-reserve, as reviewed by JBHII here. Ordered from Topper, should arrive by the end of this week. For me, first Ball, first dress-watch, first auto! :D

By on the horizon I take it you mean planned purchases coming up in the next year or so? Well, in about 2 weeks I will finally be getting my Longines Master Moonphase for my 40th birthday!

I also have a Lum-Tex M19 on order which I hope will come through soon. That will be a nice watch to add in to the collection.

For next year I know I have an Omega PO planned for the end of the year as a graduation present. I have been lusting after on of those for about 2 years now and I can't wait for the day.

They are the definites, but on the probable list for the next 12 months is a vintage 1969 Omega Speedie (my birth year) and a vintage Longines chrono.

Indeed, it would not be an exaggeration to describe the history of the computer industry for the past decade as a massive effort to keep up with Apple.

I have a MKII Stingray due to arrive tomorrow, a Korsbek Ocean Explorer that I traded for that should be here by the end of the week, a custom DWatch that should be here in a few weeks, and a second generation Cave Dweller by the end of the month. Hopefully I will round out the year with a Benarus Megladon.
