Looks like you've successfully graduated from attachments to direct link photos!

Now I need to run a "test" on that Heuer - so pack it up and I'll PM you my address. Nice watch.
Can you help me fix my watch?..Where does this: go inside this?: I guess that's what I get for buying it on eBay!!!

Thanks all your patience, I am really just a novice and learning, so any all advice greatly appreciated.

It measures 40 mm excl crown/Lug to lug 50mm
But it does NOT feel so huge on.
    It runs fantastic

Judging by those lugs, I'd say this a very old Heuer chrono. Could be 30's from the look, but it could even be from the 20's. I can't see any sign of it being a re-dial, but you never know, because it is in fantastic shape. I love the blue hands and simple dial layout.

Do you know what movement it uses? A Valjoux, Venus or Landeron maybe? I also think they used Leonidas movements in there early watches, but I don't know how early.

No, all I know/feel it is all original.

I am searching to learn the movement. Wearing the watch is a real 'stopper'

The blue hand really look old (nearly rusting)

    Perfect watch!
If you van do some cleaning&polishing,it would be even more valuable.
    Better something cheaper,but genuine,than a replica

I agree that the style of lugs places it very early. I'm not sure when the lugs started changing over to the modern style of lug, but those wire styles were certainly mainly pre 30's or so.

A very nice looking piece! Heuer has a great history to it that is easy to forget when thinking about the modern Tag Heuer.

Indeed, it would not be an exaggeration to describe the history of the computer industry for the past decade as a massive effort to keep up with Apple.
