    Default ordered my first automatic

well I finally gave in, and ordered my new Invicta grand diver with automatic movement. I picked up the black bezel black face. This is my first auto and to be honest I'm pretty pumped up. I can't wait to get it. Now i'm done for some time. Or at least I hope. The only question is, to get a winder or not to get a winder.

If it means anything, I haven't got a winder yet and I have 5 autos. The only ones that are annoying to me are the ones with dates. The rest I just wind, set, and go when I want to wear one.

Andro, congrats on your first auto! I'm with asser1 in that I have several autos in a watch case, but no winder. I just hand wind, set the date and go on with the day.

this seems to be the general concesenius, just wind it and go, which is probally what I will do, I can't wait to get it though.

this website only encourages this type of behavoir and purchasing!!!!

I can't wait, I'm petty excited to say the least, it's going to be a long weekend and longer week. I won't have it untill the 4th or 5th. Too long of a wait, or at least in my mind.

You willbe purchasing more automatics - they get in your blood... Get a winder, to just grab and go and not worry about winding, setting time, making sure date is correct...

    Enjoy!

Congratulations for your first automatic. When my Hamilton gets here, it will be my first automatic as well. I am excited but also a bit worried if I can take good care of it.
