Howard Hughes, what did he wear?

Well I'm watching a show on Howard Hughes and they are talking about stuff he liked and would collect, and all they said was "Hughes was intrigued by many things, motors,planes,cars, and fine watches". That was it, they didn't say what brand or what style other aviator and dress.

Does anyone have any ideas on what he had in his collection and what he wore?

I actually was so far able to find one of Howard Hughes' wristwatches that was autioned a Christie's

Was Huges even still alive then? I mean when did Heuer combine to become Tag Heuer...long after his expiration I thought.

Hughes passed in 1976, and Tag took over in 1984.

I thought it was rather odd, too. But I pulled that up on the link provided in my previous message by googling Howard Hughes watch collections! Maybe I didn't read it right...
