help me decide

hey everyone, i'm new to this forum and fairly new to the luxury watch market. I am looking to buy my first swiss watch and have been bombarded by so many beautiful watches in the past two weeks. I think i've narrowed it down to two watches that are in my price range and just wanted to hear someone else's thoughts. I really like the TAG Carrera automatic chronograph and the Oris Williams F1 team chronograph. They are both the same price and have a lot of the same features but i'm just stuck. Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to WTF. I have never owned either brand but there are several people in here who have one or the other, and some, like Wilfreb, with both brands represented.

Welcome to Watch Talk Forums! You have a tough decision - they're both very nice watches. I'm ever so slightly inclined to the Oris on looks alone. You may be able to find it a tad cheaper than the Tag if you look, but it's a virtually inconsequential difference. Post pictures when you receive the one you decide on.

My advice is to go out and try them both. I personally like the TAG Heuer Carrera chronograph with the black dial and the chronograph red seconds hand.

Its a tough decision but if you have the opportunity to try both on, see how the feel and fit your wrist. If both fit and look good then compromise......buy one now and the other later in the year......you never know........
