Default How Thick is too Thick

I don't remember a recent thread on watch thickness so how thick is too thick?

Since I tend to wear 40-43mm watches, over 15 is where is starts to get to thick for me.

With my vintages, all around 33-36mm, under 9mm seems to be the magic #.

So let us know, how thick is too thick for a watch for you.

I never measured, but if it interferes with my shirt sleeve it's too thick.

Most things do not bother me, but 22mm+ might become a nuisance.

I guess it depends on how you use it. At 15 mm thick, my Chrono Cockpit is a little too much for dress shirts but fine on my days off. I'd say 12 mm or less for any dress watch.
Can you help me fix my watch?..Where does this: go inside this?: I guess that's what I get for buying it on eBay!!!

The max for my 7" wrist is my Benarus, which is 16.5mm deep.

Anything bigger and it starts to look rediculous.

Default I'd say 14 mm is too thick ...

because I have one that's about 13.5 and I wouldn't want it any thicker.
