Default Swatch Group and ETA movements

Not sure if this news has been posted, but i heard last night on one of the watch shows on TV that ETA movements will be not be sold outside of the Swatch Group family of brands.

What does this mean for the industry?

Who uses ETA movements outside of the Swatch Group brands?
    Panerai? Breitling?

    Brands in the collection:
Rolex, Omega, Breitling, Oris, Tag Heuer, Hamilton, Luminox, Fendi

That's incorrect. Complete, finished and marked movements will still be sold to any bulk purchasers. It's only movement blanks and unmarked movements that'll be off the market.

'most every non-Russian/Germasian brand uses ETA to some degree. Some are switching to Sellita and Claro-Semag.

    Pam and Breitling? Definitely.
