Beautifully shaped case Oliver. BTW, it was me not JP who looked up the info about the movement and you probably know this but the info comes from Ranfft pink pages on movements, just about every movement ever made is on there. I think either the 2836 or 2836-2 would be good in this watch, as who knows which it had originally?![]()

Thanks for the info. I have been to Ranfft checking on the info there. Came to the same conclusion about movement types suitable for the case. I really don't think the case is a knock-off as I have seen a few just like it so far except for dial variations. The movement I have coming is actually from a Rado watch but that doesn't really matter as ETA made them, not Bulova. Thought I had located the proper Bulova signed rotor but that didn't pan out so I'm still on the lookout for that item. The lowest price I found for a new ETA 2836-2 generic was in TX for $165 shipped but I lucked out when I found this serviced ETA 2836-2 for $47 shipped. The case will arrive today and the mvt. should be here in a couple days.
